"I am very fortunate and immensely proud to represent the best electorate in South Australia"
- David's 1st speech in the House of Assembly (2018-05-18)
David is currently in his second term as Member for Finniss after initially being elected in the 2018 state elections. He worked in Government to put our region and community on the big stage, securing more funding and development for the electorate than ever before! David was appointed to Cabinet as Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development in 2020 until March 2022 where he passionately advocated and ensured regional development, agriculture, forestry, and primary industries like fishing and farming had a voice. David is now in opposition and will be an active voice for the electorate of Finniss for this term of government.
